San Francisco, CA, August 26, 2026 — Amplio, the AI-powered industrial asset recovery platform, has appointed Chris Deason as Head of Sales, effective August 2026. Deason will lead Amplio's sales organization and go-to-market strategy as the company expands its footprint across enterprise manufacturers and industrial supply chains.

The appointment follows a period of rapid growth for Amplio. The company recently closed its Series A, bringing total funding to $17.1M, and its agentic AI platform continues to help Fortune 500 manufacturers convert surplus inventory and idle capital equipment into recovered value — clearing space, cutting carrying costs, and diverting equipment from landfills at scale.

Chris Deason brings nearly three decades of industrial equipment sales and leadership experience to Amplio, most recently as Vice President of Sales at a leading auction company, where he built a national strategic accounts team from the ground up. Deason's background — spanning military service, dealership roles, and company leadership both in person and through online sales platforms — sets him up to build a sales division at Amplio, where he will lead and scale the sales organization, drawing on his proven ability to build high-performing teams and win enterprise contracts.

"What stood out to me about Chris is that he's built sales organizations from the ground up twice, and both times he did it methodically — with real discipline, not just speed. That's exactly the instinct we need as Amplio works to do the same thing to industrial asset disposition. I'm thrilled to have him building that with us," said Trey Closson, CEO of Amplio.

At Amplio, Deason will build the sales function from the ground floor — establishing the playbook, structure, and team that turn Amplio's early enterprise wins into a repeatable growth engine.

"I am honored to take on the role of Head of Sales at Amplio and excited to join an exceptional team with a clear path to drive growth, strengthen client relationships, and expand our presence in the markets we serve," said Deason.

Deason joins Amplio during a period of significant momentum, as the company builds on its Series A and works to bring its agentic AI asset recovery platform to manufacturers navigating billions of dollars in surplus inventory and idle capital equipment.
