It’s a free and practically limitless source of advertising and revenue, but only if you use it right. With over 10 million users, Hootsuite is currently the biggest player on the field, but other apps like Buffer, IFTTT and plenty of others offer free or cheap social media management.
These tools allow you to track analytics to see which posts are popular with which demographics, helping you fine tune your messaging to appeal to more audiences. Overall, tools like these help you monitor and measure your social media efforts, so you can see which of your S.M.A.R.T. goals is working out for you, and which ones are flopping.
It’s easy to disregard social media as an unnecessary frill on your marketing strategy, but that would be missing out on an enormous opportunity.
